Hey!

There are a few things changing in the next months at React Flow, and we wanted to share what’s going on with people who are curious (like yourself). We’ll be posting all of this again with more fanfare once these changes set in motion, but for now, here’s a “heads up.”

1. Launching Svelte Flow

We ported React Flow to Svelte! We’ve generalized a lot of the code in the core of the library, making it easier to port to other languages as well. Let’s see what comes next.

We’re super excited to share this- if you have any feedback, thoughts, or you want to help or contribute in some way, reach out to us via twitter or email us at [email protected]

2. Changing our name to xyflow

To organize ourselves better with the launch of Svelte Flow (and whatever may come next for us), the core team of maintainers will be called “xyflow,” and our Github organization, twitter account, email addresses, website address, etc. will change accordingly in the coming months.

3. Changing our package names

The React Flow package “reactflow” will be renamed to “@xyflow/react” and the package for Svelte Flow will be called “@xyflow/svelte”.

We know we just changed our package name last year (from “react-flow-renderer” to “reactflow”), so sorry about that. We hope to keep these names for a much longer time.

That’s it for now! We’ll be posting more updates once these changes start on twitter, discord, and our blog.

Cheers! ✌🏻
